Before we discuss what it means to give and spend money from a state of overflow, we first first must consider what it overflow is.
While many may equate overflow with merely a high-vibrational state, this is only partially true when it comes to distinguishing that which overflow is. From a more overarching view, overflow is a state of surrender and a state of trust of Source and of Divine Provision regardless of the appearance of external circumstances. When we are in a state of overflow, we are in a state of connection with Source and with the abundance that is Source, we are connected with the truth of the Law of Divine Oneness, and we are open in our heart center.
What is the Point in Being in a State of Overflow?
It may be surprising to you to learn that being in a state of overflow is NOT about using overflow as a proxy to get what you want. While it may be easy to assume that being in a state of overflow is the secret path to getting all that we desire most in life, it is important to remember that the 3-D plane is a plane of Soul Expansion and Soul Evolution. The truth is that we did not incarnate into the 3-D plane to live in perpetual heaven. We incarnated into the 3-D plane, the plane of chaos and conflict, to grow, and growth oftentimes involves growing pains and discomfort.
Hence, being in a state of overflow is less about the absolute conviction of acquisition at the expense of anything and is more about the the absolute surrender to the Integrity of Internal Alignment with the Universe and with Source Itself not only for our desires to manifest and to experience pleasure and comfort here in the 3-D plane but also to experience the process behind the manifestation and to confront the shadows which must be integrated into our Higher Self along the way.
Sometimes, being in a state of overflow means that we are surprised that the things which we ask for and which we desire to manifest come with challenges and obstacles which work to test our Internal Integrity and which will force us to meet our shadows. Sometimes, being in a state of overflow means that we are completely surprised at the HOW by which our desires manifest. Oftentimes, being in a state of overflow means that we get that which we desire plus 10x more once we have held the pole and stood in sufficient Internal Integrity.

When it comes to giving and spending money from a place of overflow, it is important that we first understand how high-vibrational states feel in our body.
Oftentimes, people misunderstand high-vibrational states to be hyper optimism, superficiality, and pretending that we are happy all the time. However, this spiritual bypassing will completely dismantle the integrity of our vibration and will lead to cognitive dissonance, which can dismantle our self trust and disrupt our self respect.

As you can see with the chart, peace is one of the highest vibrational states, yet peace neither entails nor requires any superficial compliments masquerading as “high vibe” nor does the high-vibrational state of peace require constant smiles or hyper optimism. Rather, peace is an internal disposition of trust and surrender, of releasing the need to prove or convince, and a connection with something bigger than the ego and sometimes even bigger than the Self. The high-vibrational state of peace is when we recognize that everything is already perfect—even when we are desiring to manifest something which we are yet to experience fully and even when we have lived through great pain and trauma.
Hence, when we consider that high-vibrational states are oftentimes much more internal and quieter than we may initially consider them to be, we understand that giving and spending from overflow is giving and spending from an internal quiet or an Internal Knowing which is impossible to fake and which oftentimes requires deep inner work before it can be even conceptualized for being what it is.
When it comes to spending and giving money from overflow, it is oftentimes movement from a place that feels still and that feels no need to do or to be anything other than what it is right now to be completely aligned with more money, more wealth, more abundance manifested as prosperity.
How to Know if You Are in a State of Overflow or in a State of Deception Masquerading as Overflow?
The truth is that only you will know if you are in a high-vibrational state or masquerading, and your ability to know this Truth will be revealed to you with time as you practice your inner work, intentional manifestation, and Spiritual journey.
What oftentimes happens in the intentional manifestation circle is that we hear about high-vibrational states and assume this means being excited, being energized, and being happy. We then move into a superficiality to maintain this faux high-vibrational state and even begin to use others as a means to extort our “high vibeness” in the form of compliments for the sake of being “high vibe,” in thinking that accepting anything and everything is proof of Divine Provision, and in failing to practice discernment, meditation, and other inner work and manifestation techniques which enable us to quiet the noise of our mental mind, to shed our 3-D conditioning, and to develop a deep, internal trust and Knowing in communion with our Spirit and with our Soul.

Meditation is integral to developing an internal disposition that has more substance than that on the external. Practicing daily meditation is imperative for a Spiritual lifestyle.
Spend time in nature. Nature is alive. Gaia is present. While we certainly live in a Universe akin to a matrix, nature is a Spirit and is even a portal through to the other side of the matrix in which we find ourselves in the 3-D plane of density. Communing with nature enables you to gain pertanent insight and to learn how to connect with your Spirit regardless of the density with which the 3-D plane presents you.
Spending time alone and in silence enables you to shut down the mental chatter and to thereby dismiss the relevancy and noise of the ego in order to heighten the volume of the Soul. Spending time in silence involves not talking for a given duration of time in addition to no music, television, or books. The idea is to have silence internally and thus to stop feeing the mental chatter through noise and words.
