How I Know the Universe has My Back
I see the Universe as the thing which Source Consciousness/ The Ultimate I AM has created. It serves us and helps us in getting the things we like in our life. The matrix in which we live in literally a tool to help us learn how to be co-creators.
We attract the things we are a match for in the matrix, which means that we are always manifesting our life experience and that we only ever experience the things which we consent to on an energetic or subconscious level.
Yes— I do believe that our desires are our roadmaps, and this is for good reason. You see we are living in a matrix in which the point of the game is to learn how to grow, and we grow through standing in Integrity without getting attached to the 3-D plane of density, illusion, and “separation.”
When we have a call to do something from deep within, this is our Soul telling us to do the thing, to work with the matrix so that this thing manifests and our Soul thereby gets to experience it.
Now, I fully admit that this was all just information before I had first-hand, empirical experience of this working in action, and in this blog post, I would like most to share this with you because a) it is true and b) it solidifies it so that any density that comes my way is impossible to shake my knowing and c) you can see that the workings of the Universe come in surprising ways.
Now, this experience occurred when I had my last $5.00 in my alligator bookbag, was just getting started with coaching, and was willing to live on the side of the road before I would be a peasant working for someone else again. I had chickpeas and rice and some pasta at home, but I really wanted tuna. I had barely eaten over the course of the previous days because I was scared that I wouldn’t get a sale and that I would run out of money.
As I was shopping at the Wegman’s grocery store, I went to the tuna aisle, and I saw that there was a four-pack for just under $5.00. This four-pack would take the majority of my money leaving me with only coins. I looked over at the other cans of tuna, and one can was close to $2.00. I felt locked out of eating, but something in me said, “good thing I have money for tuna.” I picked up the tuna pack and continued about the store.
I saw a woman browsing, and as I was planning on moving to the beach very soon, I was also giving out business cards to people because I wanted to share my work with them and hopefully get a sale. This woman took my card and looked up my website on her phone. She said that it looked cool and was happy to see my contact information. I let her know that I would be happy to answer any questions she may have. She also suggested that I check out Cape Fear because she had lived there and recommended it.
After leaving her, there was another woman in the store. She was a wise woman who felt like she just knew things. I didn’t end up giving her my card because she seemed so far above me in wisdom that it would have been no use, but we did have a nice conversation about respect and what it means to be human.
Finally, I made my way over to the sample section of the store. I loved shopping at Wegman’s because it was so warm and energizing that I loved being there. This day, she had a chicken sampling. I was perplexed on if I should eat the chicken. I told her that I was unsure. I had been vegan for 6 years, and it wrecked havoc on my digestion, so I went carnivore to restore my digestion, and I was now eating a mostly plant-based diet but was obviously having tuna. She suggested that I try the volcano sushi sample and cookies on the other side, so I went there and saw the same woman who had given me a mac-n-cheese sample the weeks prior. We had a great conversation about employers and employees and me being a coach and her being retired. The volcano sushi sample tasted delicious. Finally, I stopped to get my cookie. It was delicious chocolate chip.
Now, you may be thinking that this sounds like I was just hungry and getting samples to feed myself, but I was in a highly energetic state. I was flowing, laughing, and having fun. I wasn’t even aware of how hungry I was. I was relishing in the flavors of the food and of the warmth of the store and the people.
Standing in line took a long time. The pair in front of me was a dad with his young daughter. He was trying his best to be encouraging and seemed to be genuinely hurt and perplexed when she cried.
While I was in line, I enjoyed looking over the cookbooks and seeing the different recipes that I could try once my business took off— living a life in which I ate three meals a day was something I had never conceived of in almost 30 years of living.
As my tuna was about to be scanned, I thought, “I really don’t want to pay for this.”
When it was my turn to get to get checked out, the cashier asked how I was, and I said, “ready to go.” She rang up my tuna pack, but there were three check-out sounds. The cashier seemed to have felt like she did something wrong and did a quick rescanning motion. She said, “it looks like it has been scanned three times, but it is only scanned once.” The total showed $1.21.
I was kind of stunted. I stared at the computer perplexed. Part of me was like no way she is going to change it, and the other part of me was like take the tuna, so I paid my $1.21. She wished me a good day, and I knew in that moment that energetic alignment is true— I knew that the Universe had my back. I realized that the Universe is literally a tool to help me as long as I am in an energetic state of alignment.
Now, I will admit, that this realization is paired with another one: only a few days prior, I had gone to a local villa to do some work. I ended up doing window shopping because it felt better. Again, I was scared to spend money, but I went into a store and thought “I really don’t want to pay for this.” I asked for a tea, and the guy said that I could just have it!
Now, neither of these attempts were intentional, strategic planning on my part. Instead, this is what happens when your energy is very strong. Your thoughts literally materialize because the field of your energy is so strong that other people subconsciously pick up on it.
I know the Universe has my back because when I was scared to spend money for food, I was provided for anyway. My wish was granted, and my faith was restored. I was moving in alignment. Now, I do believe that my energy did contribute to this largely, but the Universe/the Matrix is a tool to help us, to make our lives easier, to keep us on the path of faith, of trust, and of high vibrational Integrity.
