Resistance vs. Allowance in Intentional Manifestation
Resistance may be a dirty work in manifestation circles, but the truth is that we have all resisted the Abundance that Is at one point or another in our manifestation practice. In fact, we have all probably experienced a time or two in which we were master resistors.
Learning how to practice the energy and approach of allowance may be considered somewhat of a intermediate and perhaps even advanced manifestation practice, which is why it is important for many to have a Spiritual component supporting them in this practice.
The thing to know with resistance is how to notice when we are in it so that we can respond to it with allowance and stop resisting resistance.
What is Resistance in Manifestation?
Resistance is when you think thoughts that are of enough of a different vibrational nature from Source to hinder your natural connection with Source and thus to restrict the natural flow of the Abundance that Is from reaching you. While it is impossible to think a thought which causes total separation from Source, it is possible to think thoughts that significantly detract from your natural connection with Source and thus which lead you to experience low-vibrational states as your dominant frequency and which attract all kinds of disease and hardship into your life. Of course, you are the one who is calling them into you, but you may be unaware of this given how attached you are to the current situation.
Resistance or hinderance to your connection with Source is only offered by you from your physical perspective. In truth, you are never disconnected from Source. You are Source. However, you may resist Source when your attachment to the 3-D plane and when your attachment to your victim story is dense, louder than your Soul, and helps you to forget that you are always Divinely Supported and Divinely Protected and connected to the Abundance of All that Is.
What is Allowance in Manifestation?
Allowance is when you think thoughts that are incongruence with the vibrational nature of Source and which thus support and strengthen your connection with Source and loosen or weaken your attachment to the density of the 3-D plane. One example of a great Spiritual Teacher who maintained a solid connection with Source is Jesus Christ. While He was crucified, it is important to remember this this was His Soul Mission. He incarnated for crucifixion. You don’t have to be crucified if it is not your Soul Mission through connection with Source. Nevertheless, no one else has been able to walk on water quite like Him (at least there is no documentation of it), which is a living testament to the connection with Source He had.
When you are in an energetic state of allowance, you feel a deep inner peace and connection. You have an Inner Knowing. While you do attract more of what you like and thus manifest better, you are almost in a perpetual state of flow and thus never notice that you lack anything and may even experience Higher Levels of Consciousness on the regular.
When you practice being in the state or the energy of allowing, you rediscover your innate ability to allow the Abundance that is to flow in a steady and unrestricted fashion into your life experience. The art of allowing is the art or practice of no longer resisting the Abundance all around you.
How Do I Know If I am Resisting When Manifesting?
Your emotions are that which indicate the vibrational content you are emitting. By learning how to feel your emotions, you are able to discern whether you are allowing or resisting your connection with Source. Your feelings are your guides in this life of 3-D incarnation. Your feelings are meant to be valuable informational tidbits telling you to do or to refrain from doing something. Furthermore, since your feelings are such powerful communicators, they are also here to help you respond to your emotions rather than be moved by them and thus serve as a rewarding tool maintaining your degree of detachment from the density of the 3-D plane.
When you go against your feelings, you actively work to create more resistance and thus more attachment to the density of the 3-D plane. For example, when you wear something you dislike, work a job you hate, and/or "be nice” to keep the “peace,” you are creating resistance in your field. There is always an Abundance of options available for you to choose.

In truth, the better you feel, both in the sense of a) learning how to feel your emotions and respond to what they tell to you and b) the high-vibrational or less dense your emotions are, the more you allow your connection to Source— the more you stop resisting the Abundance that Is.
Your feelings are your guides. By paying attention to how you feel, you are able to know what your calling is here in the 3-D plane.
However, it is important to remember that feeling is oftentimes relative. We are simply unable to go from one low-vibrational state to a high-vibrational state. These states are too opposed, and we have years of conditioning and regulation of our low-vibrational frequency. Hence, if you have lived a life of chronic depression, for instance, then feeling anger is going to feel better than being depressed, but anger is still a low-vibrational state working to bring you more to be angry about in your life and is in no way comparable to the high-vibrational state of true Joy.

Joy gives you a feeling of relief from positive expectation. ”
In practicing intentional manifestation, many people get confused on what it means to feel good. In truth, feeling good is a sliding scale of moving from a lower-vibrational state to a higher-vibrational state usually one step (and much backpedaling) at a time. Overtime, your dominant vibrational state upgrades, which is what enables you to attract more of what you like and to be in a state of allowance more than resistance.
Furthermore, many people think that feeling good means something other than WellBeing and Abundance. Many people think that feeling good necessarily means being highly energized, handing out cheap compliments, and smiling at strangers. This is far from the truth of feeling good and manifesting the life you love with intention from a maintained state of allowance.
Nevertheless, when you are practicing being consciously aware of your emotions, you will always have a diagnostic with which you may gauge how you are doing with the allowing or resisting component of your intentional manifestation practice.
How Do I Know If I am Allowing When Manifesting?
When you are allowing when manifesting, you will be in a state of perpetual flow. So-called obstacles will remove themselves from your field. You will notice less of what you don’t have. You will continuously and dominantly feel high-vibrational states more often, and when you do have a setback, you will be setback to a higher-vibrational state for a shorter period of time than when you are in a state of resistance.
Furthermore, when you are in a state of allowing, you will feel like life is working in your favor. Your connection with Source will be so strong, that anything you meet in the 3-D plane is laudable and understood as a joyful blessing to experience. While you will attract more of what you desire to you, there will be less of a force to “manifest it” and more of an easy flow in the direction it which you enjoy.

When you are allowing, you will feel more of the top, high-vibrational emotions more often. When you face vibrational setbacks, you will still be at a higher vibrational level. Nevertheless, it is important to remember that words often are used to refer to different things, so this list is not absolutely accurate for every situation and for every person.
However, by taking inventory of how you currently and chronically respond to the world, you will be able to use this emotional scale as a guide.
For instance, if you regularly feel that nothing sounds good, nothing feels good, like you are suffocating, and that your thoughts are painful, you are likely experiencing depression. While there are many thoughts that could free you from your depression, you are currently not a vibrational match to experience them. Hence, to be relieved from your depression, you may jump to anger.
Will Allowing Make My Manifestation Happen Sooner?
Yes, when your dominant state is that of allowing, you are choosing to Align with the Abundance that Is. This means that you are vibrating on the frequency of the Abundance that Is. As such, you are not resisting or repelling it and are instead receiving and attracting it. While you may benefit from incorporating more specificity as to what exactly you desire to manifest with intention, being in a state of Allowance is being in state of Flow, Ease, and Abundnace.
However, it is also important to consider that when you are Allowing, you will be less concerned with time as you will be in a perpetual state of Flow and Alignment. Hence, you will be less likely to realize that you are yet to manifest your desires because you will be so Aligned with Abundance.
When you consciously become Aligned with the Abundance of All that Is, your creative endeavors become more satisfying. This is when you discover that you can achieve anything that you desire. Time simply is irrelevant in a state of Allowance.
The truth of the matter is that only thing that Is is a stream of Abundance of All that Is. It is your choice if you choose to allow it or resist it. The degree to which you resist it is the thing which prevents your manifestation because you are so focused on not that you fail to see the Abundance that Is.
