What is Low Vibration?

In spirituality, there is a polarity of high-vibrational states and low-vibrational states. According to the Universal Law of Polarity and the Universal Law of Divine Oneness, both of these states are different expressions of the same underlying thing or essence.

Nevertheless, there is a stark difference between low-vibrational states and high-vibrational states, and, by the Universal Law of Attraction, these states of vibration will attract more of themselves.

What is Low Vibration?

While it is true that “tough love” is oftentimes seen as an expression of a low vibrational state and that spreading positivity is oftentimes seen as a high-vibrational state, this is a overly simplified conception of the low-vibration-high-vibration polarity which can lead to superficiality and a lack of substance in the human experience.

Low vibration is characterized by a vibration of a low frequency or a slow rate of speed. When we are bogged down by energetic weight, we tend to move much slower than we would move in a highly energetic state, but this slowness is in regard to the ability of the heart to remain open and loving rather than specific actions and expressions.

For instance, it is possible to move fast from a low-vibrational state, and it is possible to perform actions which appear “high-vibrational” without having the energetic disposition corresponding with it.

Examples of moving with speed from a low-vibrational state may be seen in those moving from a state of fear to quickly acquire something which they are fearful would otherwise be absent and in those moving with speed from a state of hate in an effort to retaliate or to cause harm.

Examples of appearing high vibration from a state of low vibration include apologizing for the sake of being “right” or being “the bigger person” when your heart has had no genuine movement towards apology and giving compliments because you want to attract what someone else has to you and thereby make their success about you.

The essence of that which constitutes low-vibrational states is the hardness of the heart and the attachment one has to the 3-D plane of density.

What are Low-Vibrational States?

Low-vibrational states are state of consciousness that are dense and which work to posit a world view of separation, hardship, and evil. The emotional states corresponding with the low-vibrational states include shame, guilt, and apathy.

Low-vibrational states are the levels of consciousness in which life is hard, in which we feel limited and miserable, and in response to which we are offered the opportunity to respond with a higher level of consciousness for spiritual growth should we choose.

Are Low-Vibrational States Bad?

The polarity of good and bad is somewhat objective here in the 3-D plane even though we are always offered the opportunity to choose how we relate to certain situations, people, and experiences which bring us shame, guilt, and apathy.

The reason that low-vibrational states are considered objectively bad from the human level is completely relative to us and our personal, subjective experience as human beings. Low-vibration states lead to our disease, disharmony, and take use further away from Source and Truth and pull us closer into ego and the illusion of separation. At a soul level, there is no disease, so your soul is not necessarily leading you away low-vibrational states, but your human interests do.

While your ego will fight and thereby keep itself in low-vibrational states in an act of self defense, when you understand the levels of consciousness, you can choose to transcend the low-vibe levels of consciousness not because they are bad in themselves but because they lead to results that feel less good than other alternatives.

It is your human imperative, unless you have a particular flavor of trauma, to like that which feels good and to dislike that which feels bad. While we oftentimes come to get stuck in the density and have trauma which regulates low-vibrational states as familiar and thus as what feels good, when we zoom out and look at the results of our life, we come to understand that low-vibrational states are more harmful than the familiarity they provide.

While low-vibrational states can offer you the ability to learn deep lessons and to overcome much pain, which is a type of hero journey for the soul, low-vibrational states overall attract more low-vibrational states, which is why they have gained a reputation for being “bad.”
